Execution of a WACS to assess the composition, quantity, and recyclability of waste extracted from the Klang River, Malaysia. The study provided critical baseline data to evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of river waste sorting and recycling. Activities included waste sampling and sorting to assess material composition, as well as analysis of potential processing technologies and recycling market linkages. Findings informed the design of a future sorting facility, business model development, and strategies to enhance resource recovery from the river
